DUCHARME, Valmore (Val) - The family announces with sorrow, his death in Sudbury, Thursday, June 3, 2010 at the age of 66 years. Son of the late Mabel (née Furlotte) and of the late Valmore Ducharme Sr. Beloved husband of Linda Ducharme (née Chrétien) of Cartier. Loving father of Rory Ducharme of Kirkland Lake, Lyle Ducharme (Carie) of North Bay, Shane Ducharme of Chelmsford and his step- children, Shawn St-Germain (Cheryl) of Hanmer and Tammy Prpic (Jason) of Sudbury. Predeceased by his step-son Shaine St-Germain and his sisters Colleen Mallette, Claudette Marcotte and Georgette Quail (late Bob). Sadly missed by his grandchildren Taylor, Mackenzie, Seth, Jessie, Megan, Darcy, Damyen, Jenessa Ducharme, Nathan St-Germain, Mathieu Blanchette, Jake, Cale and Olivia Prpic. Lovingly remembered by his sisters and brothers-in-law, relatives and friends. Valmore was a hoistman with Falconbridge Limited and First Nickel Mines. His good character and the kindness of his heart won the affection of his loved ones and all who knew him. Valmore, a gifted musician will be remembered for his singing and music playing. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691, R R, 15, Chelmsford, Monday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in St-François-Xavier Church, Cartier.
