DUGUAY, Théophile “Ted“ - It is with great sorrow that we announce his passing at Health Sciences North, surrounded by his loved ones, on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at the age of 75 years, after a short battle with cancer. Born in 1936 in Lamèque, N.B., he was the son of the late Alexis Duguay and the late Léonie (née Haché). Survived by his sisters and brothers: Agathe Auclair (Laval) of Québec, Qc, Sister Bernadette Duguay of Montréal, Qc, Marie-Rose Noël (late Siméon) and Rosario Duguay (Alexina) both of Bathurst, N.B. and Mathieu Duguay of Lamèque, N.B. Loving father of Pierre Duguay (Joanne) of Sudbury and Sylvie A. Duguay of St-Bruno-de-Guigues, Qc. Cherished companion of Louisette Lemieux of Mattice. Sadly missed by the mother of his children, Jeannette Duguay (née Levac) of Sudbury. Lovingly remembered by his four grandchildren, Pascale, Christiane, Philippe and Roxanne. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Ted worked for CNR as a brakeman/engineer for 33 years and retired in Mattice, On. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved playing darts and cribbage. He was devoted to his community in Mattice, where he was a member and president of the “Club d'âge d'or“ for several years. The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Brulé and Dr. Paradis., as well as the staff on the seventh north surgical floor of Health Sciences North especially Rachelle Brown. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Sunday from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 9th, 2012 at 11 a.m. in St-Dominique Church, Sudbury. In lieu of flowers, donations (by cheque only) to the Northern Cancer Foundation would be greatly appreciated
