DUNCAN, John Nicol - In loving memory of John Nicol Duncan, passed away at the Sudbury Regional Hospital with his family by his side (March 3, 1945 - April, 6, 2011). Loving son of the late Arthur and Catherine (Kilpatrick) Duncan John was a kind loving husband, father and grandfather. He was an excellent business man running Duncan Brothers Supply Ltd. with his son Jay. John enjoyed many years of semi retirement in Florida golfing with his wife Brenda and his buddies. He enjoyed boating on Lake Wahnapitae with his family and many trips to the sandbanks. John traveled extensively with his family and finally retired two years ago. He will be greatly missed by his wife Brenda-Quirt, his son Jay and his daughter in law Chantal, and his wonderful grandchildren Tristan and Jaiden who made John's life complete. He will also be missed by his extended family Pauline and Dave Bonneville, Stuart and Joan Duncan, Tracy and Susan Cameron-Duncan and Kiley, Denis and Jennifer Manarin-Jason and Steven, Preston and Gerry Quirt-Ryan and Meagan, Noreen King, Dale King, Glenn King-Jason and Michael, Dave and Linda Lindsay-Jeff and John. Rest in peace John, we all love you and will miss your smile and quick wit. A Celebration of John's Life will be held in the R. J. Barnard Chapel JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury on Saturday, April 16th, 2011 at 11 A.M. Cremation at Park Lawn Crematorium with inurnment at the Civic Memorial Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Cancer Centre or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. (Friends are welcome after 10 A.M. Saturday).
