EATON, Jean (née Campbell) - In loving memory of Jean (née Campbell) Eaton who passed away Saturday, February 5th, 2011 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital Beloved wife of Dean Eaton predeceased 2004. Loving mother of James Dean “J.D.“ Eaton (Leslie Hamill) and Anne Marie Eaton (Brian Caine). Cherished grandmother of Brittany, Kyle, Tyanna and Abbagail. Dear daughter of James and Julia (Germain) Campbell predeceased. Greatly missed by friends and relatives in the Ottawa Valley and Sudbury area. Jean was a well-known and respected educator who was born in Sudbury and grew up in Massey and Sudbury. She married her soulmate Dean Eaton at Christ the King Church. A longtime teacher and principal with the Sudbury Separate School Board where she had many friends. A devout Roman Catholic, she attended Our Lady of Hope Church and she was a member of the Parish CWL. Jean will be remembered as a determined person who was meticulous and articulate in her organizing and advocating for worth causes. She was quick to help others and devoted to her loving family. The light of her life will be cherished by all who knew and loved her as she is now reunited with Dean in heaven.Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME 252 Regent St. at Hazel St., Sudbury. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Hope Church 591 Brennan Rd., Sudbury Thursday, February 10th, 2011 at 10am. Interment in the family plot at the Civic Cemetery. Prayers 3pm Wednesday. Donations to the Diabetes Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. (Friends may call 2-5; 7-9pm Wednesday.)
