ELSBY, Patricia Agnes (Hawke, nee Dawson) - Died peacefully in her 83rd year with family by her side on April 10, 2013 at St. Peter's Hospital, Hamilton. Dear wife of Bill Elsby, Pat is predeceased by her beloved husband Bruce Hawke. Her children Calvin (wife Jean), Dale (husband Steve) and Linda (husband Bryan) and her stepsons Brad and Greg give thanks for her life and many gifts. Her grandchildren Melanie, Annette, Simon and Patrick (wife Mandy) enriched her life in many ways, including through the gift of great grandchildren (Blair, Kaleb, Keegan, Halle, Grace, Zach). Pat loved her family and to play cards and go fishing. She was famously patient, made great pastry and was a remarkable seamstress. A celebration of her life is planned for Monday April 15th at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church (St. Elizabeth Village, 391 Rymal Rd. W., Hamilton). Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
