ENGLISH, Alice Irene - In Loving Memory of Alice Irene English Friday, February 18th, 2011 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital, 93 Years. Alice was a resident of Southwind Retirement Home. Alice was born in Mount Forest, Ontario, and is survived by Bill Routliffe, her partner for the past 41 years, his daughter Penny Baker (Routliffe) and his son Bill Routliffe Jr. (wife Edith). Grandchildren Tracy St. Denis-Webb, (husband Allen), Jeremi St. Denis (wife Katherine), Nyree St. Denis (partner Chris) and Amanda St. Denis (finance Stephen) and great grandson Vincent. She is predeceased by her husband George English of Sudbury, her parents of Mount Forest and brother Clarence of Mississauga. Alice was a longtime resident of Sudbury and avid gardener. She is a lifetime member of the Order of the Easter Star. Alice worked for many years with Loblaws Groceries. She will be missed by many friends in Sudbury and Florida. At Alice’s request there will be no visitation or service. Cremation at the Parklawn Crematorium. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home.
