1951 – 2021

It is with sadness and heavy hearts that we announce Jim’s peaceful passing at Health Sciences North surrounded by his loving family on September 16th 2021.

Son of the late Clovis and Patricia Faulkner. He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Patricia (née) Quesnel. Loving father of Andrew (Tina), Steven (Jennifer) and Jennifer (Dan) Maillet. He will be remembered with love by his grandchildren, Koralee, Tyler, Chelsey, Kalyn, Connor, Alara, Colton, Kerri, Jessica, Roger, and Carter, and by his great-grandchildren, Avianna, Charlotte and Kaia.  He is also survived by his siblings, Alex (Judy), Richard (Clemence), Helen (John) Maginnis, Lise (Phil) Hadlow, Monica (Garfield) Hodgins, Linda, Dan, Mark, and Len. Predeceased by his sibling, Louise (Rene) Desbiens.  Jim leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and many good friends.

Born is Sudbury, Jim was retired from Rainbow Concrete. He was an avid Montreal Canadian fan since a very early age.  He loved fishing, playing golf, hockey and blooperball and watched mostly all sports. Jim loved family gatherings and was well known as the life of the party.

A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Christ the King Church. Donations can be made to a charity of your choice. Cremations services entrusted to Simple Wishes of the North, Sudbury.
