FENSKE, Arthur - In loving memory of Arthur Fenske who passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at the St. Joseph's Health Centre at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Bernice (Tapp) Fenske predeceased 2001. Loving companion of Frances Lattie. Arthur will be deeply missed by his children Carolyn Besserer (husband Norman deceased) of Garson, Debbie Dore of Nepean and Ardiss Fenske (husband Mervin Aho) of Wahnapitae. Cherished grandfather of Tammy Besserer (Dave) of Sudbury, Lori-Ann Landry (Perry) of Limoges, Angela Dore (John) of Kemptville, Christopher Dore of Nepean and Alex and Jesse Castonguay both of Sudbury and great-grandfather of Erin and Carson Landry. Born in Nokomis, Saskatchewan to Edward and Mary (Scheer) Fenske, Arthur was the youngest of a family of nine who have all predeceased him. He retired from Inco in 1985 and went on as a training supervisor at Clarabelle Mine. He was an avid golfer and loved to dance. To get away from our Canadian winters, Arthur spent many in Florida. For those who knew him well knew he always had a hug to share. He was a volunteer driver for the Red Cross for many years. Memorial visitation will be held at the JACKSON & BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury on Saturday, September 26th, 2009 where friends may call from 2-4pm.
