FERGUSON, Lionel “Fergie“ - The family announces with sorrow, his death in Sudbury, Monday, March 12, 2012 at the age of 84 years. Son of the late Lucien and the late Elise (nee Mantha) Ferguson. Beloved husband of Elizabeth Ann (nee Sauvé) Ferguson. Loving father of Carmen Ferguson of Val Caron, Claude Ferguson and Monique Ferguson both of Sudbury. Dear brother of Steve, Donald and Donalda. Predeceased by many brothers and sisters. Cherished grandfather to Andrée (Dan), Alicia (Julien), Collin, Lauren and great- grandfather to Alexis, Mathieu and Chloé. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Lionel was the owner of “Fergie's Barber Shop“ in the Flower Mill for 49 years. He lived for his family and was a man of great faith. He was also involved in many committees within the Flower Mill. In keeping with Lionel's wishes there will be no visitation. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 15rd, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at St-Jean-de-Brébeuf Church, Sudbury. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Maison Vale Hospice would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME Sudbury.
