FITZPATRICK, Leslie - In loving memory of Leslie Fitzpatrick in his 94th year, peacefully Sunday, June 10th, 2012 at St. Joseph's Continuing Care Center, Sudbury. Beloved husband of Shirley (St. Cyr) Fitzpatrick predeceased 1998. Sadly missed by his loving friend Anita Martel and her family. Loving father of Wayne (wife Norma), Patty (husband George Bouchard) and Nancy predeceased. Cherished grandfather of Carrie (Greg), Pamela (Marvin), Deanna (Paul), Robyn (Jason), David (Coreen), Elizabeth and great grandchildren Jordan, Christopher, Kaitlyn, Jake, Aimee, Owen, Colton, Trenton, Mathieu and Anabelle. Dear son of James and Anne Mary (Howard) Fitzpatrick predeceased. Dear brother of Maurice Fitzpatrick (wife Loretta), Nora Swanson and predeceased by Al, Howard, Christine, Helena, Kaye, Lilly and Bertha. Special brother in law to Carmel Russell, Phyllis Altman and their families. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. He was born in Allumette Island, P.Q., moving to Sudbury in 1943. He was an INCO Miner retiring in 1976 with 32 years service. He enjoyed music and dancing at the Legion in Minnow Lake. He spent many happy times at the family camp on Allumette Island. Leslie will be remembered as a wonderful storyteller with a great sense of humour and quick wit. He was a “gentle“ man who was happiest in the company of his family. The light of his life will be cherished by all who knew and loved him. “And until we meet again may God hold Leslie in the palm of his hand.“ Funeral Prayers in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St., at Hazel St. Thursday, June 14th, 2012 at 11 a.m. Interment in the Sudbury Catholic Cemetery. Donations to the Sudbury Minor Hockey Association or send a Kid to Camp would be appreciated. Friends may call 2-5; 7-9 p.m. Wednesday or after 10 a.m. Thursday.
