FLAMAND, Gilbert Bruno - In Loving Memory of Gilbert Bruno Flamand 67 years, who passed away on Sunday, February 26th, 2012 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury. Beloved son of Emerick and Julia Flamand both predeceased. Loving Father of Darlene Wemigwans (Justin) of Wikwemikong, Henry Flamand (Adrienne) of Lansing, MI, Brian Flamand (Stephanie) of Thunder Bay, LeeAnn Fox of Sudbury, Delores Trudeau (Fred) of Wikwemikong, Tyler Dokum of Wikwemikong, predeceased by his children Merence and Raymond Trudeau. Cherished grandfather of David, Joshua, Maryann, Odessa, Raiden, Clint, Karlene, Elijah, Steve, Eric, Kevin, Arianna, predeceased by his grandchildren Kyle and Mikita. Dear husband of Melvina (nee Trudeau). Dear brother of Helena, Eugene, Elizabeth, Beatrice, Harold, Marjorie, Margaret, Loretta, Danita, John, and predeceased by his brother Stanley. Gilbert will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and friends. Born in Pointe Grondine, Gilbert worked as a truck driver for many years. He was an outdoorsman, enjoyed traditional harvesting and taking the kiddies fishing. He was always helping others fix their vehicles. He loved spending time reading, going to the casino and bingo or watching hockey, especially his grandchildren's games. He will be remembered for talking and texting on his famous pink phone, to family and friends. Family was the center of his life with a big heart for his grandchildren. Resting at the St. Ignatius Church, Buzwah. (friends may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday). Funeral mass in Holy Cross Mission, Wikwemikong Thursday, March 1st, 2012 at 11 a.m. Interment in Wikwemikong.
