FORGET, Michel (Mike) - Peacefully passed away surrounded by his loving family at the Maison Vale Inco Hospice on Sunday, May 23, 2010 at the age of 60 years. Beloved husband of Pierrette “Pye“ Forget (née Mrochek) of Monetville. Son of the late Norbert and of the late Berthe Forget (née Demers). Loving father of Nicole (Don) of Val Caron and Luc of London, ON. Cherished grandfather of Daniel and Isabelle. Dear brother of Jeannette Northorp (Dave) and Gilbert Forget both of St-Charles, Gisèle Hurley of Monetville and Marcel Forget (Lucie) of Ottawa. Mike loved to party at camp, play the guitar and be the white hat. He always enjoyed fishing and hunting with his buddies. Mr. Forget was a good friend and cherished his neighbors, but most of all he was a very devoted husband and family man who always enjoyed the company of his grandchildren. One of his most proud moments is watching his grandchildren play sports. Mike worked for many years as a supervisor for the City of Greater Sudbury in the public works department. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd E. (at Notre-Dame), Sudbury, Tuesday, May 25, 2010, from 2-5 and 7- 9:30 p.m. Donations (by cheque only) to the Maison Vale Inco Hospice or the Northern Cancer Research Foundation would greatly be appreciated.
