FORTIN, Paul - Est décédé à Sudbury le vendredi le 28 octobre 2011 à l'âge de 93ans. Fils de feu Albert et de feu Léa (née Chartrand) Fortin. Époux de feu Evelyn Fortin (née Fortin). Père bien-aimé de Pierre Fortin (Claire Narbonne) de Sudbury, Robert Fortin (Donna Porter), Claudette Fortin (Byron Rogers) et Paul Fortin (Susan Babineau), tous d'Ottawa, Claire-Marie Fortin et Gisèle Fortin (Ken Norris) toutes deux de Toronto et Suzanne Fortin (Normand Demers) de Kitchener et prédécédé par sa fille Paulette en 1946 . Cher frère de Lucille Ladéroute (Albert) de Blind River et Gloria Packard (Frank) de Sudbury. Prédécédé par son frère Léo (feu Irène) et sa soeur Maria Leroux (feu Fred). Ses petits-enfants Marc, Nicole, André, Elie, Jean-Luc, Genevieve, Stephane Fortin, Matthew Kettle, Sophie Demers, Christopher, Andrew, Seth Norris et ses arrière petits-enfants Louis-Pierre et Charlotte Fortin se souviendront de lui avec amour. Il est également regretté par plusieurs nièces, neveux, parents et amis. On se souviendra de Paul ayant été un vétéran des FACR de la deuxième guerre mondiale. Il s'est occupé, pendant plusieurs années, du camp Lakeview à Algoma Mills. Par après, il déménagea à Sudbury et travaillait à Cochrane's pour ensuite se diriger dans une nouvelle carrière en tant que professeur au secondaire de Timmins et prit sa retraite en 1980. La famille recevra parents et amis à la COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE, 222 boulevard Lasalle E. (angle Notre-Dame), Sudbury, mardi de 14h à 17h et de 19h à 21h 30. Un service funéraire aura lieu le mercredi 2 novembre 2011 à 10 h a la Chapelle de la Coopérative funéraire, Sudbury. Husband of the late Evelyn Fortin (née Fortin). Beloved father of Pierre Fortin (Claire Narbonne) of Sudbury, Robert Fortin (Donna Porter), Claudette Fortin (Byron Rogers) and Paul (Susan Babineau), all of Ottawa, Claire-Marie Fortin and Gisèle Fortin (Ken Norris) both of Toronto and Suzanne Fortin (Normand Demers) of Kitchener and predeceased by his daughter Paulette in 1946. Dear brother of Lucille Ladéroute (Albert) of Blind River and Gloria Packard (Frank) of Sudbury. Predeceased by his brother Léo (late Irène) and his sister Maria Leroux (late Fred). Will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Marc, Nicole, André, Elie, Jean-Luc, Genevieve, Stephane Fortin, Matthew Kettle, Sophie Demers, Christopher, Andrew, Seth Norris and great grand-children Louis-Pierre et Charlotte Fortin. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, families and friends. A WW II RCAF veteran, Paul will also be remembered for having operated Lakeview camp in Algoma Mills. He relocated to Sudbury, worked at Cochrane's and thereafter began a new career as a high school teacher in Timmins and retired in 1980. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E. (at Notre-Dame), Sudbury, Tuesday from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Funeral Chapel, Sudbury. Donations (by cheque only) to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated.
