FOSTER, Gilberte (nee Vincent) – passed away on Sunday April 3rd, 2011 at the age of 80 yrs. Beloved wife of Earl. Dear mother of Denise and her former husband Dr. Harold Gibson both of Sudbury and Lise and her husband Mike Guindon of Otterville, ON. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Master Corporal Jeffrey Gibson (Crystal) and Master Corporal Matthew Gibson (Maya) both of Alberta. Also survived by her siblings Yvon Vincent (Rita) of Sturgeon Falls, Georgelyn (Garnet Reynolds) of Espanola, Johnny Vincent (Lorraine – deceased) of Sudbury, Constance Fournier (Andre) of St Cathrines and sister-in-law Jocelyn Vincent of Sudbury and brothers in-law Bill Foster, Romeo Leblond & Raymond St Jean. Predeceased by her parents Joe & Dora Vincent; her siblings Roger Vincent and Mariette Turner. Also predeceased by her in-laws Charlie & Lottie Foster, Helen & Bev Robinson, Marion & Mike Boudin, Elmer & Merle Foster, Bertie St Jean and Yvette Leblond. Gilberte worked her entire life in hospitals in Sudbury and North Bay. She will be remembered for her love of travel and enjoyment of life. Family receiving friends at HILLISDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd, for a memorial visitation on Saturday April 9th from 1 until 3 pm. A celebration of her life will follow at 3pm. Interment in the family plot at St Mary's Cemetery in Sturgeon Falls at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Gilberte to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Lung Association will be gratefully acknowledged by her family.
