FOURNIER-GERVAIS, Quinton Laurier - (November 24th, 2011 - December 18th, 2011) - Peacefully in his mother's arms in the early morning of December 18th after a brief illness at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. Quinton was loved by his parents Jennifer Fournier and Andre Gervais, his sister Shelby Anne and his grandparents Sandra and Lindsay Fournier and Rene and Noella Gervais. The little warrior was an inspiration to all that knew and cared for him. In the face of adversity, and at less than four pounds he inspired “the big people“ to think of others and to do the right thing. He gave us a lifetime of love during his short time on earth. His parents would like to thank Dr. Huneault, Dr. Blaney, Dr. Kumar and the staff in the birthing centre and Intensive Care Nursery at Health Sciences North for their excellent care. Special thanks are also sent to the staff of the neonatal intensive care unit at the Hospital for Sick Children, all of Quinton's doctors and nurses and the staff and volunteers at Ronald McDonald House Toronto. Quinton's family is grateful for all the prayers, love and support that have been sent our way. Service to be held at LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, Hanmer/Capreol Chapel, 4605 Michelle Dr., Hanmer on Thursday, December, 22nd, 2011 at 12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers donations to the Ronald McDonald House Toronto or the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Hospital for Sick Children would be appreciated.
