FRANTZ, Wesley Farrell - In loving memory of Wesley Farrell Frantz, 86 years, who passed away peacefully on Thursday March 31st at Sudbury Regional Hospital with family at his side. Beloved husband of Iva Frantz (nee Cooney) predeceased 1997. Loving Poppa of Helen (Ben Rinaldo) of Sudbury, Barbara (Victor Lavigne) of Hamilton and Phillip (friend Shirley) of Manitoulin Island. Cherished grandfather of Sandra, Corinna (Eric), Warren (Catherine), Ian (Arynn), Sean (Laura), Charlene (Kevin), Tammy and Glenn (Paula). Great grandfather to Mallory, Emelie, Karalynn, Rory, Ryan, Wesley, Drayson, Sasha, Devin, Cullen, Sadie, Greg, Kristina, Tamera and Kara. Wesley was a miner at the Creighton Mine and a Quarter Century recipient from Vale retiring in 1982. He also was a soldier who served in World War II. Wesley cherished spending time with his family and many outdoor activities that included vacationing in Florida, camping, fishing and hunting. A man of few words, gentle and kind. Special thank you to the staff of 5th floor Cardiac Step Down Unit for their compassionate care. Reunited now with the love of his life, they are likely packing up the camper for their first trip. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME 252 Regent St., at Hazel St., Sudbury Funeral Service in Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church Tuesday, April 5th, 2011 at 11am Interment in the Waters Cemetery.
