FRYER, Carol Anna (née Maguire) - June 5, 1933 - February 24, 2011 - Anna died peacefully in her 78th year, surrounded by her children at Carpenter Hospice in Burlington. She was the loving wife for 53 years of the late Robert Fryer (2005). She was predeceased by her son Mark (2008) and is lovingly remembered by her other children, Terry (Sheila), Stephen (Ruthanne) and Anne Marie (Kelly), her daughter-in-law, Janice, and her grandchildren, Sara, Joel, Julia, Andrew, Alexandra, Anna and Chloe. She was a dear sister to Ruth (2010), Jean, and Bill (Marina). Anna grew up in Stayner, raised her family in Northern Ontario and retired in Scarborough. Her final years were spent at Village Manor in Waterdown. Throughout her whole life, making and sharing music brought her happiness and fulfillment. Anna's memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Trinity United Church, 140 Maple Street, Collingwood followed by a reception and visitation in the church hall.
