GATIEN, Edward Omer - In loving memory of Edward Omer Gatien who passed away February 23rd, 2013 at Health Sciences North at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Sally (McDonald) Gatien of Sudbury. Loving father of Dawson (Crystal) of Sudbury. Cherished Pop Pop of Sayge and Carson. Predeceased by his parents Omer and Alice (Legault) Gatien, his brothers Fr. Leonard Gatien and Rudy Gatien and sisters Beatrice Blais and Sr. Annette Gatien. Dear brother of Gerald Gatien (Bernadette) of Grafton and Sr. Laura Gatien of Toronto. Ed worked in the Geology Department for Inco for many years until his retirement in 1984 and a proud member of the Korean Veterans and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 224 for 60 years. At his request, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation.
