GAUDET, Albani (Al) - The family announces with sorrow, his death in Sudbury, Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at the age of 85 years. Son of the late Louis and of the late Rose Alma (née Gauthier) Gaudet. Beloved husband of Aurise Gaudet (née Larose) of Sudbury. Loving father of Claude (Marlene), Michel (Mary), Denis (Debby), Yvon (Debbie) all of Azilda, Réal (Louise) of Sudbury, Richard (Raquel) of Costa Rica, Daniel (Marianne) of Chelmsford, Jacques of Montreal, Qc, Robert (Josée) of Gatineau and Marcel (Joanne) of Ottawa. Dear brother of Mirelle Michaud (late Gerard ) of Aylmer, Qc, Dolores Lamarche (Jean-Paul)of Rouyn, Qc and Colette Gaudet (late Marcel) of Montreal, Qc. Predeceased by his brothers Roméo (late Julie), Roland, Marcel (Dolores) of Niagara Falls, Normand (Jacqueline of Azilda) and Gilles (Annette of Rouyn). Sadly missed by his grandchildren, Francine, Angèle, Gérald, André, Steven, Philippe, Andrea, Pierre, Patrick, Jonathan, Andrew, Mélanie and his 12 great- grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Prior to retiring, Albani owned and operated AL""S TV & FURNITURE for 25 year and thereafter was custodian at Metro for 3 years. He was a member of many organisation in his community: “Club d""accueil d""Azilda “, “La vie montante“, the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 553, Chelmsford, Knights of Columbus in the 3rd degree and the Lion""s Club. He was also an avid woodworker and a member of the Senior Wood Shop. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691, R R 15, CHELMSFORD, Thursday from 2-5 and 7- 9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, September 24, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in Ste-Agnès Church, Azilda.
