GAUTHIER, Eliane (née Senez) - The family announces with sorrow, her death in Sudbury, Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at the age of 101 years. Daughter of the late George and of the late Malvina (née Daigneault) Senez. Wife of the late Frank Gauthier. Beloved mother of Hervé of Dryden, Laurent (Martina) and Ernest both of Sudbury. Predeceased by her son George, her daughter Alice and her brothers and sisters, Leo, Harvey, Roland, Joe, Marie, Jean and Alice. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Tim (Natalie), Nicole, Tammy (Eric), Lori (husband), Kim, Sherry (William), Carrie (Ryan), her 12 great- grandchildren and special friend Mary Weirzbicki. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Eliane enjoyed cooking, sewing, knitting and gardening. The family expresses its heartfelt appreciation to the nurses and staff at Pioneer Manor for the kind and compassionate care. A private family service was held. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Sudbury. Donations (by cheque only) to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated.
