It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Gary Dallard Gauthier 81 years on Wednesday, July 5th, 2023 at Health Sciences North in Sudbury.
Loving husband of Sandra (nee Landers). Loving son of Leonard and Agnes (nee Hentges) Gauthier both predeceased. Father of Gregory (predeceased 2017), Jennifer, Heather, and Tony (Angela). Missed by grandchildren Graham (predeceased 2023), Christian, and Kaitlyn. Gary was one of four brothers being Hazen predeceased 2023 (Pauline), Douglas (Myra), and Robert (predeceased 2013). He will be sadly missed by his nieces Ruth, Kirsten, and nephew Jon.
Gary was an accomplished businessman. He was the original President of SCS Insurance Adjusters and was a past Chairman of the Sudbury Police Board. Gary loved the outdoors and spent many years boating and fishing at Rock Lake. He spent his later years with his wife Sandra from Georgia, enjoying the southern charm and hospitality. We will always remember his laughter, wit, and kindness. His most recent birthday at the Atlanta Braves game will always be a cherished memory.
