GAUTHIER, Hazel Katherine (Hoover) - April 20, 1944 - January 7, 2012 - H. Katherine Gauthier passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on January 7th , 2012 at the age of 67 years, surrounded by loved ones. Kathy was known for taking care of her husband, making great food and always opening up her home to family and friends. She worked at Gus' Restaurant and Your Independent Grocer for many years. Born in L'Amable, Ontario, to Cecil and Helen Hoover (predeceased) and wife of Polidore (Paul) Gauthier. Mother of Suzanne (Keith), Pauline (Jason), Brenda (Murray), and Wanda (predeceased). Grandmother of Seanna (Chris), James (Crystal), Joshua (Melanie), Kylie, Adam, Cameron, Brennan and Kristen. Great grandmother of Reese and Baby On Way. She will be greatly missed by her husband, daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, siblings, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitations will be held at the BARAGER FUNERAL HOME, 38 Bridge St. West, Bancroft on Thursday, January 12th , 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Church 196 Bridge St. West, Bancroft on Friday, January 13th, 2012 at 12 noon. Memorial donations to the Regional Cancer Centre, Sudbury would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements in Sudbury entrusted to the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME.
