With tremendous sadness in our hearts, we share the passing of Jessica Gauvreau, March 28,2024, in Sudbury at the age of 34 years. Born to loving parents of the late Michael Gauvreau and Lisa Gauvreau. Loving mother of Eve Marie St. Jean. Dear sister of Vanessa McAvoy (Shawn) and their children, Ireland, Catherine, Shawn Jr., Cooper, Liam, and Tristen. Jessica will be warmly remembered and missed dearly by her Nonna Evelyn Gauvreau, and her many loving and adoring Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. Special mention goes to Eve Marie’s father, Dominique St. Jean, Nana Caroline St. Jean, and their loving families.
Jessica graduated high school from Lockerby Composite. She continued her education at Cambrian College in Hotel and Restaurant Management. From there she held various jobs, but loved her job at Science North, where she worked for 10 years, and held the position of assistant manager at Elements Restaurant.
Jessica will always be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor. No matter what the mood was, she could always bring a smile to the faces around her.
She adored the children she was surrounded with, as they would always run to “Zia” or “Z” before anyone else.
To our sweet Jessica you are now at peace. You are looking down on us from heaven with dad, as you drive the golf courses above. We say goodbye for now and one day we will see each other again. You will be forever in our hearts and thoughts as we go through life with our beautiful memories.
A celebration of life will be held on April 11, 2024, at 1:00pm at St. John’s Cemetery, 34 Garson Coniston Rd, Garson, ON P3L 1E9.
