GEDDES, Helen (nee Vowels) - In Loving memory Of Helen Geddes (nee Vowels), 79 years, Wednesday morning, June 8th, 2011 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital. Beloved wife of Grenville Geddes predeceased 2007. Loving mother of Catherine Perih (husband Larry predeceased) of Whitefish, David Geddes (wife Audrey) of Walford, George Geddes (wife Tracy) of Whitefish, Marlene predeceased 1972, Melanie Geddes (friend Peter Charbonneau) of Whitefish and Elizabeth White (husband Tony) of Brampton. Cherished grandmother of 15 grandchildren and 9 greatgrandchildren. Dear sister of Ted Vowels of Parry Sound and the late Raymond, Lloyd, George, Bernis, Gladys, Irma, William and Eileen. Predeceased by her parents William and Pearl (Burns) Vowels. Sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Helen was a woman of deep faith and was a founding member of the Bethel Baptist Church. She loved to pick berries and always had a smile to share. Helen was the happiest when surrounded by her loving family and she leaves a rich legacy of love and commitment. Funeral Service in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent Street, Sudbury, Monday, June 13th, 2011 at 11:30am. Interment in the Whitefish Public Cemetery. Donations to the Gideon Bibles, Bethel Baptist Church and the Whitefish Lions Club would be appreciated.
