GÉLINEAU, Gratien - It is with great sadness that the family announces his death in Chelmsford on Saturday, November 24th, 2012 at the age of 69 years. Son of the late Wilfrid and Cécile (née Baril) Gélineau. Beloved husband of Colette (née Cadieux) Gélineau. Loving father of Sylvie (Colin) Morris, Christianne (André) Mainville, Carole (Greg) Hudson and Lucie (Alain) Blais. Dear brother of Alcide, Mireille, Edmond, Marcel, Etienne, Françoise, Léon, Christian,Marc. Predeceased by his siblings Monique and Diane. Cherished grandfather of Yvan, Roxanne, Michel, Jason, Ryan, Nicholas and Zachary. He will be greatly missed by his great grandchildren Jayden and Brooklyn and many nieces, nephews and relatives. Gratien had a strong bond with his grandchildren as they meant the world to him. He leaves behind his special canine companion Candy, who will truly miss his special touch. Gratien devoted 30 years of service as a miner at Vale Inco. He was an outdoor enthusiast who loved to fish, hunt and spend time by the campfire after a day of quading with family and friends. In keeping with Gratien's wishes, there will be no visitation. A celebration of his life will take place Friday, November 30th, 2012 at 11 a.m at St-Joseph Church in Chelmsford.
