GEREGHTY, Helvi Ellen (Harju) - In Loving Memory of Helvi Ellen (Harju) Gereghty 81 years Friday, November 11th, 2011, in the arms of her children at the Pioneer Manor. Beloved wife of Ralph Gereghty predeceased July 7, 2005. Loving mother of Alan (Angela), Brenda (Wally Johnston), Karen (Bernie Amirault predeceased 1998) and Elaine (Jay Guba) all of Sudbury. Cherished grandmother of Matthew (Sheena), Megan, Andrew, Steven, Brandon, Cameron, Kyle, Candice (Joey) and great grandchildren Ashton and Gracie. Predeceased by her parents Matti and Hilma Harju. Survived by sister in law Anne Harju of Sudbury, brother Henry Harju (Shirley) of Lively and brother in law Gerry Gereghty (Hugette) of Copper Cliff. Helvi was a dearly loved friend, neighbor and aunt to many nieces and nephews. We would like to thank Dr. St. Martin for his care of mom these past 3 years. As well, we would like to thank Shane, Shawne and all of the wonderful staff on the Scenic wing of Pioneer Manor for being a part of Mumma's life. In particular, the support we received the past 8 days from everyone; kitchen staff, housekeeping, activity department, the PSWs, RPNs and RNs, all made mom's last days more comfortable and peaceful for all of us. Funeral Service in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME 252 Regent St. at Hazel St. Monday, November 14th, 2011 at 11:30am. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium.
