GERRARD, Rachelle Claire (nee Bouffard) - The family announces with sorrow her peaceful passing at the age of 75 at Health Sciences North on Saturday, January 12th, 2013 with her family by her side. Beloved wife and sweetheart of Maurice Joseph Gerrard for 53 years. Loving mother of Brian Gerrard (predeceased), Karen Gerrard of Englehart, Laurie Gerrard of Hanmer and Kevin Gerrard (Sylvie) of Spanish. Loving daughter of Albert Bouffard and Jeanne Bouffard- Scutt (nee Bertrand) both predeceased. Loving sister to Claudette Brown of Espanola, Claire Lajeunesse (Tom Joyce) of Espanola, Gerry Bouffard (Debbie) of North Bay and Denise Clow (Ernie) of Espanola. Precious grandmother to Adam, Melissa, Jordan and Ryan. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. The family sends a heartfelt thank-you to all her visitors while at St. Joseph's CCC and HSN and especially to Dr. S. Oommen and Dr. Centis, nurses Lorrie, Tracy, Lis, Esther and palliative care staff on 4N. A very special thank you also to Claire, Tom, Gerry, Debbie, Thomas, Jen, Kari, Kim and Ryan (the chauffeur) during this difficult time. The nursing staff and Dr. Messenger on 4 South also are recognized for their wonderful support and care. Resting at the JACKSON & BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury where friends may call after 1pm Saturday, January 19th, 2013. Funeral Prayers in the R.J. Barnard Chapel at 2pm. Cremation to follow. The Gerrard family invites everyone back to the family home for a time of reception immediately following the service.
