In Loving Memory of Janet Anna Eva Gibson (nee Baldelli)  “Nana Popcorn” 67 years After a courageous battle with cancer Thursday morning, June 10th, 2010 at the Maison Vale Inco Hospice, Sudbury. Loving mother and best friend of Laurie (husband Ed Dupuis) of Sudbury and the late Billy predeceased January 5th 1979. Cherished grandmother of Jordan Dupuis and Leah Dupuis both of Sudbury. Dear daughter of the late Aldo (1974) and Annette (1980) (Sylvester) Baldelli both predeceased. Dear sister of late Heather Carter predeceased 2005 (husband Freeman), the late Ronald “Ronnie” Baldelli (1994)(Gail of Sudbury) and the late Dennis Baldelli (1992).Sadly missed by her cat “Kitty” and dog “Max”. Janet loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed watching them participate in sports and having their friends over at the “Miller St. playground.” She like to videotape her family and friends. Janet (Nana Popcorn) worked at Charles McCrae Public School, Sudbury Secondary School, Canron, and most recently St. Andrew School. She always had a special connection with all the children as she was the Lunch Monitor and was also involved with special needs children at St. Andrew School. She also volunteered at Pioneer Manor, and touched many of the hearts of residents there. Her two grandchildren were the love of her life, having lived with them since birth. Special thanks to Dr. Lopez and Sharon from the Cancer Centre, Dr. Bowen and staff, Dr. Dhatt, Cindy and staff, Dr. Knight and nurses from the fourth floor Oncology at the Sudbury Regional Hospital, the wonderful staff and volunteers of the Chemo Centre and to all the wonderful staff and volunteers at Maison Vale Inco Hospice. She loved her Sudbury Star. Funeral Prayers In the Lougheed Funeral Home 252 Regent St., at Hazel St., Monday, June 14th, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Interment of cremains in the family plot. Donations to the Maison Vale Inco Hospice or the Regional Cancer Program would be appreciated. (Friends may call 2-5 & 7-9 Sunday and after 10:30 a.m. Monday
