In loving memory of Walter Gibson who died in Sudbury on Monday, July 11, 2022, at the age of 70 years. Loving father of Mike (J.C.) and Kimberly. Lifelong friend to the mother of his children, Judy Gibson. Devoted and loving grandpa to Jayden, Rylan and Jaxon. Special uncle to Eddy Landry and Trina Bruyere. Son of the late Andrew and the late Ivy (née Snider) Gibson. Dear brother of Sharon (John), Velma, Wayne (Bev) and Donald (Edna).
Walter was employed for many years as an electrician with Xstrada Nickel (Glencore). Walter was a dedicated employee, mentor and respected by many.
The most important thing to Walter was his love of his children, grandchildren and his dogs, Cola and Remington. Walter spent weekends with his grandchildren and developed a special bond with them. At an early age he taught them all about electronics, a variety of tools and how to read schematics His devotion was limitless. Walter spent his retirement taking long walks with his dogs, exploring nature and taking pictures. Walter found a passion for photography and spent countless hours developing his craft. He has left behind thousands of memories in his photos.
