GIGNAC, Rheal “Jiggy“ - In loving memory of Rheal “Jiggy“ Gignac, 85 years, who passed away Sunday December 23rd 2012 at Extendicare Falconbridge with his family at his side. Beloved husband of Irene (nee Hamilton) Gignac of Sudbury. Loving father of Monique Gignac of Sudbury, Suzanne Manning of Sudbury, Norman (Olga) of Garson and Gisele Gignac (Ralph) of Ottawa. Cherished grandfather of Joey (Danielle), Jaime-Lynn (Jonathan), Luc (Melissa), Shane, Justin (Jessica), Shannon (Eric), Megan and Devon (Celeste) and great grandfather of Kerri-Ann, Nathan and Kaitlyn Brash, Avary Moore, Audrey Gignac and Meeah Lagace. Dear brother of Alfred Gignac (late Marie) of Sudbury. Predeceased by his parents Henri and Emela (nee Rivard) Gignac, brother Aurilian (Fabienna of Welland), sisters Dora Quenville (late David) and Clara Roussil (late Pierre). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Rheal enjoyed a good joke and loved to laugh He loved spending time at his camp on Lake Panache, fishing and also enjoyed bowling. He found his greatest pleasure surrounded by his loving family and friends but especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. A special thank you to Dr. Roch and the nursing staff at Extendicare Falconbridge for their excellent care and compassion. Memorial Visitation at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME. Memorial Mass at Ste Anne des Pins Church, Saturday December 29th, 2012 at 11 a.m. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to the Maison Vale Hospice would be appreciated.
