GILBERT, Michael “Mike“ Alexander - In Loving Memory of Michael “Mike“ Alexander Gilbert, 32 years, Friday, February 24th, 2012 at his home. Best friend and loving husband of Eryn (Witrak) Gilbert of Coniston. Cherished father to Landen. Amazing son of Terry and Rae- Ellen (Heffern) Gilbert. Loving brother of Dana (Serkan). Dear son in law of Karen predeceased and Terry Witrak. Special grandson of John and Teresa Heffern, Morley and Doreen Gilbert and Minnie Witrak. Sadly missed by his canine pals Kodak, Winnie and Lilly, as well as many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Mike's biggest love of his life was his family and friends. He was always there with a helping hand, a shoulder to cry on, or a kick in the pants. He touched everyone he met in some way, but inspired all to make the most of each day. Mike was happiest working alongside his dad at Gilbert's Automotive on anything that had a motor attached. He also loved snowmobiling, quadding and drag racing with his dad and friends. Mike will always be remembered for racing his car down the track, his infectious laugh, big heart, and passion to live life to the fullest every day. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Funeral Service in Glad Tidings Tabernacle 1101 Regent St., Sudbury Wednesday, February 29th, 2012 at 11am.
