GIROUARD, Claude Roger - The family announces, with sorrow, his death in Hanmer, Saturday, August 28, 2010 at the age of 62 years. Dear son of Murielle Girouard (née Rivest) of Sturgeon Falls and of the late Lionel Girouard. Beloved husband of Marie-Jeanne Girouard (née Racette) of Hanmer. Loving father of Tanya Wright (Ryan) of Val Caron. Predeceased by his son Shawn. Dear brother of Lorraine Morris (Brian), Diane Giroux (Marc), Estelle Rondeau (Normand), Pierre Girouard (Francine), Mariette Olivier (Pierre), Chantal Lindsay (Peter), Fernand Girouard (Gisèle) and Carmen Beaudry (Laurent) all of Verner, Gaëtan Girouard (Carmelle) of Lavigne, Berthe Lafond (Pierre) and Jacques Girouard both of Azilda, Carole Girouard of Sturgeon Falls, France Girouard of Chelmsford and Josée Clément (Rhéal) of Newmarket. Predeceased by his sister Françoise and his brother Michel (Lucille of Mont Albert). Sadly missed by his grandchildren Zackarie, Aaron and Sheldon. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Family will receive relatives and friends Friday September 10, 2010 after 10:30 a.m. in St- Jacques Church, Hanmer. Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. Donations (by cheque only) to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
