GNECH, Bruno - The family announces with sorrow, his death in Sudbury, Thursday, June 16, 2011 at the age of 83 years. Son of the late Costante and of the late Bortola (née Zanin) Gnech. Beloved husband of Palma Gnech (née Casera) of Chelmsford. Loving father of Costante Gnech (Cindy) of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania,Virgilio Gnech (Jennifer Langton) of Toronto, Piera Perry (Tony) of Chelmsford, Roberto Gnech of Ottawa and Andréa Gnech (Brigitte Barrette) of Montreal, Qc. Dear brother of Antonia Gnech (late Gioachino Sommariva) of Italy. Predeceased by his brother Pietro and his sisters Teresa and Caterina. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Christopher, Melissa, Ryan, Matthew, Jennifer, Vanessa, Aaron and Braeda. Lovingly remembered by many relatives and friends. Bruno was an avid fisherman, hunter, enjoyed spending time with his family and at the seniors craft shop in Chelmsford. The family expresses its heartfelt appreciation to the doctors and staff at the Sudbury Regional Hospital, 6th floor South Tower for their kind and compassionate care. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691, R R 15, CHELMSFORD, Sunday from 2-5 and 7- 9:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held Monday, June 20, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel, Chelmsford. Donations (by cheque only) to the Lung Association would be greatly appreciated.
