GODDARD, Annette (nee Hermans) - In loving memory of Annette Goddard (nee Hermans) 87 years. Peacefully Wednesday, January 2nd, 2013 at the Pioneer Manor, Sudbury with her loving family at her side. Beloved wife of J.W. Rexford Goddard predeceased 2012. Loving mother of Murray Goddard (wife Carolyn), Diane Laing (husband Brent) and Karen Beange (partner Cathy Waters). Cherished grandmother of Laura Goddard, Meaghan White (husband Benjamin), Shawn Quesnel (wife Francine), Ashley Sturdy (husband Benjamin), Jonathan Laing, Trevor Beange, Erin Beange, Kristen Beange and great grandchildren Justin, Alexandre and Everett. Dear daughter of Samuel and Anita (nee Reeves) Hermans both predeceased. Dear sister of Natalie Hampton (husband Fred) both predeceased. Sadly missed by nephews, nieces and friends. Annette's thirst for knowledge was a passion of hers; be it chemistry or biology courses she enjoyed furthering her education. She also enjoyed listening to opera, especially La Traviata, golf, family get togethers and picnics as well as camping at Grundy Park or on the Island. Travelling with Rex to Aruba and Hawaii were also highlights in her life. The priority in her life was her family especially her precious husband Rex. The light of her life will be cherished by all who knew and loved her. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Cranberry Place Wing in Pioneer Manor for their excellent care and support. Memorial Visitation at the JACKSON and BARNARD FUNERAL HOME 233 Larch St., Sudbury Sunday, January 6th, 2013 from 1 to 2 p.m. Private Family Memorial Service to follow. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. In lieu of flowers, donations to the NCF- Regional Cancer Program would be appreciated.
