GODIN, Aline Marie (née St. Germain) - The family announces with sorrow, her death in Sudbury, Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at the age of 78 years. Daughter of the late Valério and Angélina (née Rouleau) St. Germain. Wife of the late Armand Godin (1986). Beloved mother of Gisèle Breau (John) of Azilda, Monique Imbault, Valérie Godin (best friend and compassionate care giver) and Richard Godin (Lynda) all of Hanmer. Dear sister of Joffre St. Germain (late Edna) of Ottawa, Claire Brunet (late Yvon) of Gatineau, Germain St. Germain (Janice) of Copper Cliff, Rémi St. Germain (late Claudette) of Sudbury and Richard St. Germain (Cécile) of Garson. Predeceased by her sister Antoinette Moody (late Gerry). Sadly missed by her grandchildren Richard, Chantal, Josée (Joshua), Liane Dutrisac (Ryan), Michelle (fiancé Matthew) and her great-grandchildren Brandon, Dylan and Cassidy. Lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family expresses its heartfelt appreciation to Drs. Robert Masih, John Fenton, Rod Willoughby for their kind and compassionate care throughout the years. As well, special thank you to the staff at Sudbury Regional Hospital Emergency Department and 4th floor north tower for the excellent care given. She will be remembered as a wonderful wife and mother who enjoyed life, loved her children, grand-children and great-grandchildren. Special joy was brought to her by her feline friends, her flower gardens, traveling, holidays and the captivating music of Hank Snow. In keeping with Aline""s request, there will be no visitation.
