GOUDREAU, Roger Joseph - The family announces with sorrow his passing on Tuesday, December 11th, 2012 at the age of 59 years. Beloved foster son of Gilbert and Alice Lafrenière.Loving brother of Christine Duhamel (Richard) of Sudbury. He will be sadly missed by his niece Nicole Antoine (Yvan) and his nephews Daniel Duhamel (Jennifer), Thomas Duhamel and his great nephew Christopher. Special thanks to the I.C.U. nurses at Health Sciences North for their kind and compassionate care. Roger was a volunteer for multiple organizations such as Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Sudbury, Sudbury Game and Fish, East End Playground, Sudbury Air Cadets and he also volunteered as an elevator operator for Notre-Dame-de-la-Merci Church in Coniston. He was an avid outdoorsman, spending many years camping with his father at Felix. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Tuesday from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 19th, 2012 at 11 a.m. in Notre- Dame-de-la-Merci Church, Coniston.
