Carole Greenough 1940-2022
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Carole Greenough (nee Dalzell) on June 13th. She passed peacefully surrounded by family, and was happy to be visited by friends and family during her last few days.
Survived by her loving husband Gordon of 61 years, and her beloved children, Kevin, Glenn (Sylvie), and Karen. Cherished ‘Grammy’ of Meteo, Ottavio, Aubryana (Matthew), and Jacob. Predeceased by daughter Sharon, parents Beatrice (Ellard) & George. Will be sadly missed by her siblings, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Carole was an avid sports fan who loved cheering on her kids and grandkids, and was a proud supporter of the Ottawa Senators and Toronto Blue Jays.
Carole will be remembered as someone who loved to laugh, she couldn’t tell a joke without cracking up before getting to the punch line. She was kind to all and enjoyed vacationing in Florida every winter for the last 25 years.
The family would like to thank the amazing staff at Mindemoya Health Centre for the exceptional care and support provided.
There are no plans for a celebration of life at this time.
