GREER, James Wilford “Jim“ - In loving memory of James Wilford “Jim“ Greer, 81 years, on Monday, August 27th, 2012 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury. Beloved husband of Laura Greer (nee Naveau) of Naughton. Loving father of Wilma Harron (Bob) of Elsinore, Kevin Greer (Pam) of Naughton, Dennis “Gus“ Greer (Elaine) of Victoria, B.C. and Daniel Greer (predeceased). Cherished grandfather of Ryan & Nathan (Mandy) Terry, Megan & Katrina Greer, Gerad and Adam (Tammy) and great grandfather of Alyson and Avery. Predeceased by his parents Wilford and Laura Greer and his brother Art Greer (Doris). Sadly missed by Jesse, Gladys, Alex, Hilary, Michael, Randy and Laura.Survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Jim was born in Brooke, Ontario on August 17th, 1931 and came to Sudbury in 1935. He was a longtime resident of Creighton, Naughton and the Whitefish Lake First Nations. James was a member of the Mine Mill and Steelworkers Unions, the Walden Walking Group and the Whitefish Lake First Nations Seniors Club. At his request there will be no visitation or service. Cremation at Park Lawn Crematorium. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME.
