GREY, Floyd

December 21, 2012 83

GREY, Floyd Russell - known by all as Corky, was born on the Carry the Kettle First Nation Reserve in Saskatchewan in 1929. He passed away in Calgary, Alberta December 9, 2012. He will be missed by Shirley, his wife of 60 years; his children Tanus (Pim), Tracy (Brett), Micki (Barry), Robbie (JoAnne), Russell, Tara Dawn, Joel (Janice), Shawanee and Dana; grandchildren Schon, Summer, Erin, Nathan, Jillian, and Raivan, Mandy, Amber, Natalie, Amanda, great grandchildren, many relatives and friends. Corky would want to remembered not only as a wonderful husband and awesome Dad, Papa, foster Dad, bus driver, and “tire buster“ but, very important to him, as a Witness of Jehovah. Dad shared Bible truth with his children and studied the Bible with many who wanted to know Jehovah God's plan for a paradise earth where “sickness and pain will be no more“. Rev. 21:3,4 He served as a faithful publisher of this good news and as an Elder in congregations of Jehovah's Witnesses in Ontario, B.C. and Alberta. Those who share his knowledge and confidence in Jehovah know he will be resurrected to this earth where we will greet him again in paradise as promised in Psalms 37:10,11. Jehovah will not forget his faithfulness. His children are grateful for the outstanding Dad who was always there when we needed him. We will care for Mom as he would want us to do. Thank you to all your prayers and thoughts at this time.
