In Loving Memory Of Allan Rae Grigor, 74 Years, Who passed away at the Sudbury Regional Hospital, Tuesday May 3rd, 2010. Beloved husband of Heather (Stewart) Grigor. Loving father of Ferelyth Grigor and Peter (wife Nicole) Grigor. Cherished grandfather of Joshua, Samuel and Abigail. Allan will be missed by his sister Carolyn Doni and her husband Sav as well as their children Stephanie and Christopher. Al is predeceased by his parents Allan and Marion “Rae” (Spry) Grigor. Al was a lifelong resident of Sudbury and was a Manager of Sudbury Housing for many years. He was a member of the Bethel Lodge as well as a Treasurer of the Sudbury Shrine Club for 14 years where his involvement included playing Santa Clause at Christmas time and a clown to help brighten the lives of many shrine children. Al was also a member of the Algoma Chapter 139 order of the Eastern Star. The loves of Al’s life were his family, his garden and his canine buddy Robert. A special thanks goes out to Terry and Arlene Jackson who have been at Al’s side throughout his lengthy illness. Donations to the Rameses Shrine Headquarters would be appreciated. A service will be held at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral home 233 Larch St. In the R.J. Barnard Chapel On Thursday May 6th,2010 at 1 PM. A Masonic Service will be held on Wednesday at 7PM followed by An Eastern Star service at 7:30PM. (friends may call Wednesday from 2-5PM and 7-9PM)
