GROSS, Rudolph, 'Rudy' F. - In Loving Memory Of Rudolf “Rudy“ F. Gross 65 years Tuesday, April 26th, 2011 at the Maison Vale Hospice. Beloved husband of Donna (Leino) Gross of Dowling. Loving father of Craig (Jill Smith) of Burlington, and Kiersty Gross of Sudbury. Dear brother of John (Irene) of Mission B.C., and Mark (Sonja) of Agassiz B.C. Dear son of Philip and Muriel (Bunch) Gross both predeceased. Dear son-in-law of Niilo and Perky Leino both predeceased and brother-in-law of Barbara Mooney (Michael) of Azilda and Cathy Vezeau (Guy) of Levack. Sadly missed by nieces and nephews, Jason, Serena, Eric, Evan, Philip, Michael (Marnie), Matthew (Hana), Bradley and Amanda. Born in Sudbury, Rudy married Donna in Levack in 1967. He worked for Falconbridge/Xstrata as a Mine Planner/Surveyor for 27 years retiring in 1998. Rudy loved the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting. He also had a keen interest in astronomy. He spent several years volunteering at Camp Aush- Bik-Koong. He was a loving and devoted family man. A strong believer, his unshakeable faith in the Lord Jesus Christ gave him strength and courage to face his illness in peace and serenity. Memorial Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, JACKSON & BARNARD FUNERAL HOME 233 Larch St., Sudbury Saturday, April 30th, 2011 at 11am. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to the Maison Vale Hospice or Camp Aush-Bik-Koong would be appreciated. (Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Friday and after 10am Saturday.)
