HADDAD, (June) Charmaine - In Georgetown Hospital at approximately 5:00 p.m., January 13, 2013, Charmaine Haddad passed from our loving arms into God's hands. Children, grandchildren, family and loving friends had surrounded her with their love and comfort over the past week, but she succumbed to the effects and complications of pneumonia on the seventh day. Born June 7, 1931 in Peterborough, Ontario, Charmaine was predeceased by her husband Raymond Joseph and her son- in-law Bill Dodds. She will be dearly missed by daughters Sharon Haddad (Dodds), Stephanie (Ludwitschenko), and Shelley (Bortolotto) and sons-in-law Peter and John, extended family Richard Powell-Brown (Janice). Her legacy includes four adoring grandchildren Rayanne, Simon, Alex and Jake. To Charmaine family was all, strong ties bound her not only to younger sister Jane Ferrare and son Christopher, brother Peter Mowry (Grace) and brother Gary Mowry (Margo), but also to Raymond's siblings Fred (Claudette), Norma (Don), Lorne (Donna) and the late Lorice Hunt (Ralph), along with their children all of Charmaine's nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. A Christmas well spent surrounded by and hearing from family and friends was followed by what she called her last hurrah, a Caribbean cruise, and for Charmaine there were no regrets. Family and friends will be received at the J.S. JONES & SON FUNERAL HOME 11582 Trafalgar Rd., north of Maple Avenue in Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Thursday January 17, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will be held in the chapel on Friday January 18 at 1:00 p.m. followed by a reception and then interment at Brampton Memorial Gardens.
