In loving memory of Eva Hakojarvi who passed away peacefully at the age of 92 at Pioneer Manor with loving family at her side.
Dear daughter of Aarne and Tyyne Hakojarvi (predeceased). Loving sister of Anne Bartoli (Decio) and George Hakojarvi (Elfrida). Fondly remembered by nieces and nephews Susan Luckx (Andre), Sharon Kyle (Paul), Dan Bartoli (Cindy), Christine Spencer, Sara Nawrocki, Kevin Hakojarvi (Melissa) and their children.
Eva was kind and hard working. She started working as a secretary in Sudbury after high school. Eva lived happily and enjoyed life on her own terms. Her adventurous spirit took her to live and work in Toronto, Ontario, Nassau, Bahamas and Livingston, Montana. Eva returned to Sudbury in 2009 to be closer to family.
Her family is grateful for and would like to thank the staff of both Finlandia Lepokoti and Park Place at Pioneer Manor for their excellent care and compassion.
