HALL, Velma Jane (nee Hreczuk) - In Loving Memory of Velma Jane Hall (nee Hreczuk) 79 years. Peacefully Friday, December 16th, 2011 at her residence, with her loving family at her side. Beloved wife of 60 years to Lawrence “Bud“ Hall. Loving mother of Brian Hall (Patricia), Kevin Hall, Lynn Newstead (Douglas) and Laurie Groulx (Gilles). Cherished grandmother of Lawrence “Buddy“, Brian “B.J.“, Douglas, Scott, Jacob and Ryan. Dear daughter of Andrew and Anna (Shozda) Hreczuk predeceased. Dear sister of Mary McDonald (Jack) and Stella Hoop (Ken) both predeceased. A life resident of Sudbury, Velma married Lawrence “Bud“ Hall in 1951 at the Copper Cliff United Church. She had worked at Woolworths Co. for over 30 years, retiring as a bookkeeper in 1990. She was an excellent baker and keen St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. At Velma's request there will be no public visitation or service. Cremation.
