HANCOCK, Jeanette Elizabeth (Saulter) - In Loving Memory of Jeanette Elizabeth Hancock, (Saulter) passed away at Health Sciences North in Sudbury on February 21st, 2012 in her 58th year. She was the loving wife of 39 years to Douglas. Beloved mother of Marty and Murray (Jennifer). Proud “Nan“ of Taylor and Lauren. Daughter of the late Howard and Effie Saulter. Survived by her sisters Flora (Cecil), Eileen (Bert), brothers Bill (Margaret), Jerry (Lorrieanne) and predeceased by her sister Susie. Loving Aunt of many nieces and nephews, a special friend to Carol Cosby and special niece to Aunt Evelyn. Jeannette was born in Forteau, Labrador. She moved to Sudbury, Ontario in 1972. She had a passion for hockey, having spent countless hours at the rink with her sons, granddaughters and “her tykes“ and as an executive member with NCMHA for the last 5 years. She will greatly be missed by all who knew her. It was Jeanette's wish that in lieu of flowers, donations to be made in her honour to Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Resting at the JACKSON & BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Funeral Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel Saturday, February 25th, 2012 at 11 a.m. Interment in the St. John's Cemetery, Garson. (Friends may call 2-5; 7-9 p.m. Friday and after 9:30 a.m. Saturday).
