HANCOCK, John - In loving memory of John Douglas Hancock, 67 years, who passed away suddenly at his residence Tuesday March 6th, 2012. Husband and best friend of Diane Hancock (nee Hunwicks). Survived by daughter Sandra and son Bobby Joe, and foster sister Thelma McMann and foster brother Charles “Charlie“ Hilley. Predeceased by his parents George and Clara Hancock. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many friends. Grandfather to four legged friend Nitro. A special thanks to Roger and Linda. John retired from Inco in 1996 with 30 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching sports, especially Nascar and had a love for animals. A Celebration of Life will be held at the JACKSON and BARNARD FUNERAL HOME Monday March 12, 2012 at 11 am. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the GRA Canada (greyhound rescue) would be greatly appreciated. (Friends may call after 10:45am Monday.)
