The family of William David Hannan announce with great sorrow his passing in Sudbury on July 24th, at the age of 83 years.
Survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Sondra Hannan(Wing). Dear brother of Sharon Clarke(Hannan).
Beloved father of David Hannan and wife Ginny. Cherished grandfather of Jeff Hannan, Courtney Woltz(Hannan) and Patrick Hannan. Great Grandfather of Jack and Walker Woltz of Pittsburgh.
Born in Sudbury, Ontario, Bill and Sandy after marriage settled in Sudbury as Bill worked for Inco for his entire career first as an Electrician at The Copper Cliff mine and eventually moved the family to Levack, where he worked in numerous management jobs. His true pride and joy was his cottage on Windy Lake. He and Sandy had many years enjoying family and friends on the Lake! Bill had a lot of hobbies, he played softball, loved fishing, refereeing hockey, and loved working at the Camp which he always said never ends!
He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, love and laughter that his family has inherited forever!
There will be a celebration of life dinner for immediate family.
