HANSEN, Florence Rita - In loving memory of Florence Rita Hansen (nee Laframboise). The family announces with deep sadness that she passed away peacefully in the arms of her family on Sunday evening, October 10, 2010, at the Sudbury Regional Hospital. Daughter of the late John Laframboise and the late Alice Laframboise (nee Hamelin). Beloved wife of William Hansen. Loving mother of Janet (deceased), Carol (husband Alfred Davies) of Sudbury, Brenda of Sudbury, Peggy (husband Arnold Porter) of Victoria and Donna of Vancouver. Dear sister of Stella Kent of British Columbia and Albert Laframboise of Elliot Lake. Predeceased by her sisters Ellen Pichette, Esther Bertrand, Gertrude Fortin and her brother Wilfred Laframboise. Cherished grandmother of Laura, Rob (Anna), Karen, Tammy, Lori, Alison, Glenis, Iana and Lhasa. Also survived by great grandchildren Kelsie, Kurtis, Katarina, Keifer, Keenan, Jordyn, Christian, Mila, Hudson, Amira, Kaila, Kyle, Michelle, Nicholas, Victor, Victoria, Paige, Morgan and Jacob. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, feline friend Topaz and many long time friends. Florence touched many lives with her love and kindness and was known for her great sense of humour and wonderful smile. She had a passion for playing cards especially euchre. Florence was an inspiration to us all and will always hold a special place in the hearts of all who knew her. Resting at the JACKSON & BARNARD FUNERAL HOME 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Funeral prayers in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, Friday, October 15, 2010 at 10 AM. Cremation with interment in the Civic Cemetery.
