HARRISON, John - Passed away peacefully with his wife and friends by his side on Sunday, August 15 a few days before his 59th birthday after a short, courageous battle with lung cancer. Beloved husband of Sharon (Loney). Brother of Susan Henderson (Ian). Predeceased by his parents Glen and Marie and his brother Bryan. Always witty, John will be remembered for his love of his wife, music and golf and his loyalty to friends. John was an audio technician with CBC for numerous years and loved working on many interesting programs. John requested that no funeral be held. A celebration of his friends and family will be held at a later date. I would like to thank his doctors and especially Dr. Trop and ICU staff on Sunday night for their support and compassion.
