In Loving Memory of George Arthur Heale, 87 years. He was a resident of Lively and passed on Saturday, April 23rd, 2011 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital after a sudden illness. Born in Copper Cliff, Ontario son of William Heale and Rose Bowen, both predeceased. George married to Laura Hazel Heale for 61 years. He was employed by INCO Limited for 44 years as a First Class Machinist in the Machine Shop. He was a member of Algonquin Lodge No. 536 AF & AM, member of the Scottish Rite, member of Branch 76 of the Royal Canadian Legion. He was a talented lapidarian and silversmith craftsman; in retirement he enjoyed his garden, sitting in front of his fireplace and dancing at Branch ’76. Survived by his loving wife Laura Hazel Drury; proud of his children Ellen Heale of Copper Cliff, Patrick Heale (wife Mary Jo Campbell) of West Vancouver, John-Paul Heale (wife Hazel Maxwell) of Vancouver; loving grandfather of Jamie, Michael, Mary, Trevor and Elliot. Also survived by his sister Rosemary North of Belleville and brothers Bill Heale and Gordon Heale of Sudbury and predeceased by his brothers Jack Heale and Lorne Heale. Sadly missed by his nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Shriners Hospitals for Children would be appreciated. Thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of the ICU and Emergency Departments of the Sudbury Regional Hospital for their wonderful care and support. Resting at the Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home 233 Larch St., Sudbury Funeral Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel Wednesday, April 27th, 2011 at 1 p.m. Cremation with interment in the family plot at Park Lawn Cemetery. A Masonic service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday under the auspices of the Algonquin Lodge #536 AF & AM (Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Tuesday and after 12noon Wednesday)
